Snowblowers Recalled, Potential Fire Risk

American Honda Motor Co. Inc. issued a recall for various snowblowers it sold from April 2005 through November 2010.  The fuel tank joint and o-ring on the tanks can seep or drip fuel over time and poses a potential fire hazard.  There have been 90 reports of fuel seeping or dripping.

The snowblowers affected are red and black.  Approximately 18,500 machines have been affected by the recall.   They are model number HS724, frame serial number SZBE-1037913 through 1046577; model number HS928, frame serial number SZAS-1151080 through 1169012 and model number HS1132, frame serial number SZBF-1018734 through 1025998.  Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact a Honda Power Equipment dealer for instructions.

The attorneys at Messa and Associates have successfully represented many victims of recalled products.  If you or a loved one has been seriously injured by one of the recalled snowblowers, please contact us at 1-877-MessaLaw.
